Exactly 125 years ago, the story of the much older company Opel as a car manufacturer began with the production start of the Patent Motorwagen System Lutzmann. With an opulent edition, we commemorate the beginnings of the Opel brothers, the second oldest German car manufacturers. In 162 pages, we present the best Opel stories from auto motor und sport in a new format. Among them are contemporary tests, driving reports, and impressions, as well as elaborately produced new stories. We featured the first tests of legendary Opel models such as the Kapitän, Manta A, Opel GT, and Diplomat V8, as well as newer vehicles like the Astra Electric, Astra OPC, and everything from Adam to Zafira. Opel's great station wagon tradition is showcased in a new story, and several pages are dedicated to the many eye-catching design studies, as well as the long and rich motorsport history of the brand.
