Product details
August Sander (1876-1964) documented Cologne before the Second World War in 16 folders with 408 photographs. In 1953, this treasure was acquired for the Cologne City Museum. For the first time, the vintage prints are now being made available to the public as facsimiles, as August Sander enlarged, developed and edited them. This means that scholarly discussion can now deal with this part of the works of the great Cologne photographer of the 20th century on a new and accurate basis, and everyone can enjoy the faithful reproduction of his view of Cologne.
