Aufruhr in mittleren Jahren

Ingrid and Jan have been married for 25 years and lead a life of prosperity in Oslo, Norway. But Ingrid can't take it anymore - she sees everything in black. The joyless marriage frustrates her, the commitment at work is only feigned, and no comfort can be expected from the adolescent sons. While Ingrid begins therapy, Jan slips into an affair with his young colleague Hanne. This lasts a year, then Hanne forces the dithering Jan to leave Ingrid. She reacts calmly, moves into her car with a mattress and feels a deep satisfaction for the first time in a long time. Nina Lykke tells of the drama of a family in a rousing and full of black humour - with an almost conciliatory outcome.
