Born in 1983 – the year we were born, Germany was still divided, and just as we were starting school, the GDR ceased to exist. Our childhood and youth fell within an era of fundamental political and personal changes. Alu-Chips became DM, Broiler became chicken, Nicki became T-shirt, and Boxer became Levi's. We witnessed the emergence of a glittering consumer world and the disappearance of what the GDR meant to us. It was a time full of exciting, thrilling adventures. Let’s remember!.
