Excited and full of anticipation, that's how we looked to the future back then! Join us in reminiscing about the first 18 years of life – your childhood and youth! Born in 1979 – a generation caught between East and West Germany. Pioneers became punks, children grew into adults, and typewriters turned into laptops. Instead of buying Nudossi at the deli, we eventually got Nutella at Rewe, and instead of squeezing sour Cuban oranges, we drank 100% juice straight from the bottle. While the generations before us knew to keep all old things just in case, we had to learn to find the right moment to throw away what is no longer necessary. But we, the class of 1979, are open to new things.
