Excited and full of anticipation, we looked towards the future back then! Join us in reminiscing about the first 18 years of life - your childhood and youth. Every childhood is unique and holds a treasure of individual memories. Yet, in every generation, there are experiences that everyone shares, which are reflected in the collective memory. Born in 1943, we were the generation that came into a difficult time. As children, we delighted in a thick slice of jam bread, loved our teddy bears, and enjoyed daring sledding adventures. We became Young Pioneers, went to summer camps, and as teenagers, we experienced the prudish yet wild 1950s. Our first real jeans were usually not branded, and our ball gowns were made of Dederon. We learned Lipsi, and Elvis Presley was our secret friend. The yearbooks are an exciting journey through time and provide plenty of conversation starters and entertainment among friends and family.
