Zoë Jenny was born in 1974 in Basel and grew up in Carona (Ticino) and Greece. She published the novels "Das Blütenstaubzimmer" (1997), "Der Ruf des Muschelhorns" (2000), and "Ein schnelles Leben" (2002), which have been translated into numerous languages and awarded several prizes, including the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition, the Jürgen Ponto Foundation Literature Prize, and the aspekte Literature Prize. Zoë Jenny lives in London.
