Blanca

Fifteen-year-old Blanca wants to get away - away from her hysterical mother, who is always sitting on packed suitcases, away from the cheap shared rooms where she ends up in every new place. Her destination: a small island in Italy. There, with Toni and his father Karl, she was truly happy for the last time years ago. A road trip across the summer-scorched country begins. Blanca travels as a stowaway to Rome and makes her way to the sea on foot.
