In search of truth and justice. A true story. For 50 years, Juan Eduardo Rojas-Vásquez has been searching for his father and his older brother. Just one month after Pinochet's violent takeover in September 1973 in Chile, Juan's father and brother were arrested - they have been missing ever since. Juan's family lived near the pseudo-religious sect Colonia Dignidad, where the Chilean secret police operated a torture center. Juan is convinced that his father and brother were murdered there. For decades, he has lived with these traumatic losses, but he does not give up on his quest for truth and justice. He demands a proper reckoning of this dark historical chapter and a memorial site that honors the disappeared and provides a place for their families to mourn.
