Christian von Aster, a highly motivated word acrobat and flatland cyclist, is sent on a 14-day bike tour through Switzerland. Equipped with an e-bike and 720 kilometers of the Heart Route, he is set to get to know and understand the country. He receives help from his friend and Heart Route founder Paul Hasler, as well as a selection of more or less prominent personalities who accompany him for a stretch, invite him for tea, or try to enlighten him over dinner about the various aspects of Swiss life. Nourished by these experiences, he spends the best two weeks of his life, marveling at many things, wondering about some, and searching for answers among the hills.
