Training Topografie

The materials in this volume connect and promote two central concerns of geography education. They train the use of atlases and maps and provide fundamental topographical knowledge, which is essential for developing thematic learning content. Training Topography includes a variety of reproducible puzzles and games. These include question cards such as 'One, two, or three', game boards for a Germany rally and a world tour, dominoes and triminoes, and of course, crossword puzzles are also included. The materials can be used in open teaching, are suitable for individual, partner, and group work, encourage independent work and self-assessment, are particularly suitable for the topographical introduction of new spatial examples, and familiarize students with current names of countries, capitals, and bodies of water.
