Rund um meinen Körper

A journey through the body. Exploring and understanding one's own body is not only fascinating for children but also important for developing a healthy body awareness and self-confidence. Through games, simple experiments, and illustrative texts and images, they investigate themselves—from head to toe—building on their bodily experiences: How do we change as we grow older? What happens to food? How and why do we breathe? These and other questions are explored in the individual chapters. The total of nine topics can be addressed independently or as a series. Cross-connections between the topics help children understand their body as a whole. At the same time, they receive the necessary support to acquire fundamental skills for scientific work: they observe, compare, and analyze.
