Kyle Perry works as a therapist and social worker in various high schools, youth facilities, and rehabilitation clinics, and he lives in Hobart, Tasmania. He grew up with the Tasmanian bush and the sea, and nature plays an important role in his life and writing. His debut novel 'The Silence of Evil' was shortlisted for several awards, including the Dymocks Book of the Year, Indie’s Debut Fiction Book of the Year, and Best First Novel at the International Thriller Writers Awards. Sabine Längsfeld translates literature of various genres from English into German. Among the authors she has translated are Roddy Doyle, Chan Ho-kei, and Glennon Doyle.
