Completely revised and with a new design, the new editorial team brings the "Anatomy of the Horse" into this edition. The concept has two pillars:
Topographic anatomy. Around 60 full-page, detailed illustration panels illustrate the entire spectrum of the horse's anatomy. Detailed legends and the direct image-text reference enable every student to easily grasp the wealth of the subject area. Cross-references bring the reference to clinical questions.
Clinical-functional anatomy. Even more contributions to clinical-functional anatomy are now in direct context with topographical anatomy. They explain the clinical relevance of anatomical facts, give anatomically well-founded explanations of common clinical pictures and illustrate the importance of anatomy for everyday clinical practice. For this purpose, the authors - anatomists and clinicians - have selected important topics and collected more than 270 drawings, images of diagnostic imaging and clinical photographs.
This book combines the basics of anatomy with clinically important applications and is a useful and very practical reference book for both students and veterinarians.
