When astrology refers to Saturn as the "Guardian of the Threshold," it signifies the transition from Saturn to Uranus: between the last of the earthly planets and the first of the spiritual ones. A threshold connects two spaces or even two times – and in our case, it also connects the old and the new ruler of Aquarius. Today, we stand on the threshold of the Age of Aquarius. In this age, Saturn must be rethought. Saturn before the threshold appears earthly, while after the threshold, it becomes spiritual-mental, which means moving from "either-or" to "both-and," from the subjective perspective of the self to the objective will of the soul. It could be a challenge for us humans to utilize the energies of Saturn and Uranus together in a healing manner during this new time. However, this requires an important prerequisite: We must change our perspective on Saturn! This book aims to motivate that change and offer a path forward.
