Endometriosis often takes a chronic course: Up to 70 percent of women treated for infertility are diagnosed with endometriosis. It also took the author years to be diagnosed. With her book, the author wants to encourage readers to take their symptoms seriously and get support early on. She gives an overview of therapy options and tells how she manages her pain. The book picks up women who have been living with the diagnosis for some time, but also addresses those who have not yet been diagnosed but finally need to be taken seriously: Because endometriosis is not for sissies!
