Art - Multiculturalisme - Culture de la tolérance

The book "Art - Multiculturalism - Culture of Tolerance" brings together contributions from two conferences held in 2015 and 2017 at the Institute of Fine Arts in Foumban (University of Dschang). It addresses the themes of tolerance, overcoming differences, and strengthening national consciousness through art and cultural practices. The various articles illustrate how artists and their works contribute to the creation of a culture of peace by actively engaging in social issues. The book offers an interdisciplinary approach that encompasses both performing and visual arts, highlighting the fundamental values of multiculturalism, the right to difference, and participatory collaboration in the artistic expressions from Cameroon and beyond. The work is complemented by unpublished works and perspectives from artists who engage with the themes of tolerance and identity transcendence.
