Renate Petra Mehrwald (*1953), historian and media documentarian, works as a freelance journalist and focuses primarily on topics in the areas of mental techniques, health, and prevention, such as the galvanic microcurrent therapy, KANNE bread drink, or the proven heart remedy Strophanthin. Her contribution about the chokeberry in 2006 in the magazine Natur & Heilen triggered a true surge of interest in this plant. She publishes in both specialized and general press as well as in her own edition, Serafina Box. Her husband, Jörg Mehrwald, is also active as an author.
