The lavish five-volume box set "Architektenfutter" is dedicated to the work and cooking of the renowned Zurich office Steib Gmür Geschwentner Kyburz Partner. As passionate residential builders, they have been on a quest for both the perfect floor plan and the ideal spaghetti for 30 years. They gained recognition with the residential building on Paul-Clairmont-Strasse and the James development – both in Zurich – which exemplify what Steib Gmür Geschwentner Kyburz understands by good residential construction.

Volume 1 of this first comprehensive monograph on the office's work gathers short, personal texts on individual room types of a residential building and other aspects of living. Volume 2 provides insight into the development and working methodology of the office and presents the 65 most important buildings and projects. Volume 3 showcases the floor plans of a total of 168 furnished apartments. Volume 4 features a photo essay of eleven apartments from various completed buildings as lived spaces. Serving as a sort of dessert to this five-course menu, the concluding Volume 5 brings the partners of the office together for a discussion on topics that are central to their architectural practice.
