Job satisfaction promises employees well-being, health, and enjoyment in their work. Companies hope that motivated employees, low turnover, and better performance will result from job satisfaction. Demonstrating high job satisfaction in regular company surveys serves as a showcase for recruiting and investors. But does job satisfaction deliver what we expect from it?
