The work aid "Inclusive Religion" breaks new ground in religious education. It aims to support teachers in teaching religion in heterogeneous learning groups in grades 1 to 9 in accordance with the standards of the educational plans in a differentiated and inclusive way. The colourful diversity of our plural world has long since reached the classrooms. Pupils from different milieus, cultures, ages, religious socialisation and talents are taught in them. The joint teaching of young people with and without disabilities is also becoming increasingly important in Germany. This poses great challenges for teachers. The learning offer must be specially adapted to the requirements of the respective group and its individual pupils. The Religion Inclusive Guide provides differentiated teaching ideas and materials as well as important basic information to facilitate the joint teaching of those with disabilities. This volume contains an introduction to inclusive teaching in denominational religious education. The basics of the pedagogy of diversity and an inclusive didactics of religion are developed and a variety of methods, exercises, teaching tips and links are offered. The other volumes offer inclusive teaching ideas including materials for one or two religious dimensions from the education plans. Both the primary level from grades 1 to 4 and the lower secondary level from grades 5 to 9 are taken into account.
