The workbook serves to review and apply important content from the textbook "Health and Care Basic Competencies."

In 20 chapters, the basic competencies are reinforced. Each chapter begins with a learning situation. The subsequent tasks are structured in a case-oriented manner, allowing for a logical approach to problem-solving.

The workbook includes situations and examples from the students' living environment as well as their future professional practice. The resulting assignments encourage students to independently initiate problem-solving. The tasks consistently present varying demands on the students, such as planning actions, formulating work steps, labeling illustrations, completing gap texts, and matching terms and activities, among others. By combining different types of tasks, fundamental professional and practical competencies are promoted in preparation for future careers in the social and health sectors.
