Product details
Please note that this title primarily consists of content that is available for free on the internet. Anthony Maglica (born 1931 in New York City) is the inventor of Mag-lite flashlights. During the Great Depression, his mother decided to return to her homeland of Croatia. Anthony was to grow up in a close-knit family. After World War II, in 1950, Anthony decided to leave economically troubled Croatia and return to America. Without being able to speak a word of English, he worked as a machinist and learned the language whenever he had the chance. In his free time, he worked for himself, aiming to save as much money as possible. Once he had saved $125, he opened his own machine shop in a garage in Los Angeles, where he experimented a lot.
