Distant planets, bizarre plants and animals, as well as space pioneers torn between fascinating future opportunities and the burden of their human heritage: There is no doubt, we are in the fantastic sci-fi epic of "The Worlds of Aldebaran" by the Brazilian author Leo. By the end of the 22nd century, humanity is capable of venturing into remote regions of the universe in search of habitable planets – yet it is a dangerous undertaking. The first mission encountered setbacks, and the second turned into a fiasco. The colonization of a completely different ecosystem full of unknown dangers carries countless risks. Leo masterfully develops human dramas from a conventional space opera that also touch on socially significant issues. In "The Worlds of Aldebaran," one is left in awe.
