Annette Charles (March 5, 1948, as Annette Cardona, in Los Angeles, California; August 3, 2011, there) was an American actress. Charles was born as Annette Cardona in the state of California. Since the late 1960s, she appeared in episodic and guest roles in several American television series, including High Chaparral (1968), Gunsmoke (1970), Bonanza (1972), Emergency! (1972; 1974), The Six Million Dollar Woman (1976; 1977), and The Man from Atlantis (1977). Her most famous role was as the attractive, sultry salsa dancer Cha Cha DiGregorio in the film musical Grease (1978). In the film, she was introduced as the best dancer from St. Bernadette's High School. She portrayed the ex-girlfriend of the character Danny Zucco (played by John Travolta) and the current girlfriend of Leo, the leader of the Scorpions gang.
