Animals in winter in the beginning lessons

In the childlike world, seasonal change plays a major role. The children feel the temperature change, see the changes in nature and notice that the animals behave differently. With these experiences the interest in nature can be awakened. In the initial lessons, the children bring along very different knowledge and experience. The project Animals in Winter is designed in such a way that it can be realised with all pupils of the school entry phase. In addition to imparting factual knowledge on the subject of animals in winter, the focus is on introducing the children to open learning. Four animals - hedgehog, squirrel, bird and frog - are used to illustrate the topic of animals in winter. There are methodical-didactic introductions to each animal. As in the booklet "The tree in the beginning lessons" from this series, there is also an introduction to each topic.
