Andreas Wisniewski, born on July 3, 1959, in Berlin, is a German actor and director who initially worked primarily in the USA. After his training in Berlin, London, Copenhagen, and Paris, Wisniewski first worked as a ballet dancer in Berlin and Munich before turning to acting. He made his debut in the British film "Gothic" by Ken Russell, before gaining his most well-known and significant role as the killer Necros in the James Bond film "The Living Daylights." He had a similar role in John McTiernan's "Die Hard," where he portrayed one of Gruber's accomplices. In recent years, he has been increasingly active in Germany, appearing in television series such as "Ein starkes Team," "Die Wache," "Balko," "SOKO 5113," and "Alarm für Cobra 11." In 2001, he made his directorial debut with the film "Willows.".
