Development of Information Literacy

One of the biggest challenges in the field of nursing science is to locate the ever-growing body of knowledge, categorize it, evaluate the quality of sources, and meaningfully synthesize various studies into a greater understanding. This book aims to assist in overcoming these challenges. After an overview of the fundamentals of literature search, the individual steps from searching, documenting, procuring, selecting, and assessing quality to synthesizing the literature are explored in depth. Examples of different literature reviews illustrate the process at the end of the book.
