Who doesn't know "The Little Mermaid," "Thumbelina," or "The Princess and the Pea"? However, Hans Christian Andersen wrote several more fairy tales, over 150 in total. Here, 13 of them are presented. The special feature of station learning is that children can move around, choose the respective learning material within the given framework, and learn together with other classmates, for example through role play, thus gaining new experiences. Questions about the individual texts and puzzles help them grasp the structure of the fairy tales.
Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, unlike the Brothers Grimm, did not write down the fairy tales he was told but invented his own stories, known as literary fairy tales. "Thumbelina," "The Flying Suitcase," and "The Little Mermaid" are just a few examples.
Includes solutions for self-checking.
