Analysis 2 / Differential- und Integralrechnung für Funktionen mehrerer reeller Veränderlichen

This introductory text is based on lectures from a three-semester course 'Analysis' that the author taught at the University of Heidelberg. In this second part, the classical differential and integral calculus of real functions in multiple dimensions is developed. The selection of material and presentation are particularly oriented towards the needs of applications in the theory of differential equations, mathematical physics, and numerical analysis. Understanding the content requires, in addition to the material from the preceding volume 'Analysis 1 (Differential and Integral Calculus for Functions of a Real Variable)', only basic knowledge of linear algebra. To facilitate self-study, there are exercise problems for each chapter with solutions provided in the appendix.
