The workbook promotes careful and precise work with a ruler. The use of the Geo-board simultaneously includes a geometric drawing course. The tasks are illustrated with examples, enabling children to work on the assignments largely independently. The tasks provide inspiration from so many areas that one can speak of a geometric basic course that trains creativity, flexible thinking, careful observation, and meticulous work. The following topics are covered: recognizing and inventing shapes, short and long paths, polygons with specific properties, shapes in different positions (shifting, rotating, turning, reflecting), parallel and perpendicular lines, right, obtuse, and acute angles, triangles with a right (obtuse) angle, dividing shapes into equal parts, determining area and perimeter, squares, and rectangles.
