The DIN Handbook 450/2 provides the product standards for extruded and drawn bars, tubes, and profiles made of aluminum and aluminum alloys, supplemented by standards for wires and wire rods. In addition to the basic standards, it includes technical delivery conditions as well as normative specifications regarding composition, properties, limit dimensions, shape tolerances, and testing. About one third of the total 38 documents printed have been revised compared to the previous edition. This includes, among others, the very recent 2017 editions of DIN EN 515, which specifies the material states of semi-finished products, and DIN EN 12020-2, which outlines limit dimensions and shape tolerances for precision profiles (EN AW-6060/EN AW-6063-2). Various parts from the standard series DIN EN 754 and DIN EN 755 have also been updated.
