A novel that seeks to continue the narrative where others fail. The young teacher S. from Bosnia gives birth to a child in Sweden at the beginning of the 1990s. But unlike the other babies in the ward, this newborn has neither safety nor a home. It has no name and instead of a father, it has many fathers: the faceless mass of soldiers who repeatedly raped S. in a Serbian women's concentration camp. In the postpartum period, the terrible events of the past months haunt them. The book, which tells of the inferno, can be read as a plea for hope and reconciliation.
