Als Durante kam

Pietro and Astrid live in the hills east of the Apennines, weaving fabrics by hand and selling them to private customers or small shops. A simple, good life - that is what they have always wanted and have been living for a few years now. They are not entirely alone in the area: the Val di Poggio is a contemporary microcosm - some have moved here to restore a farm, run a small hotel with a riding stable, or to live close to nature. On a hot afternoon in May, a stranger appears in front of Pietro and Astrid's house. Strange: the dog, which usually barks, allows itself to be petted. Astrid is fascinated, Pietro is irritated. Durante simply asks the couple for directions to a farm. But that alone is enough to deeply disturb the couple. As in "Two of Two," this novel brings together different worlds and ideas.
