The Alpha plus - basic literacy course is aimed at adult learners who want to learn German but are unable to read or write the Latin alphabet and have little learning experience.

The textbook is based on the concept for a nationwide literacy course and is designed for 300 teaching units. After successfully completing the basic course, course participants will have reached approximately level A1/1.

Learners are introduced to the Latin alphabet and acquire basic knowledge of the German language in small steps.
