The textbook has been thoroughly revised for the 11th edition and brought up to the status of August 2022. Among other things, innovations from the field of digitalisation and climate protection as well as current case law have been included. The influence of the corona pandemic and the energy crisis on administrative law are also dealt with at the relevant points. Furthermore, the impact of Union law on German administrative and procedural law is presented. In addition to the main features of administrative procedural law, the relationship between general and special administrative law is highlighted. The corresponding presentations are problem-oriented and take place at points relevant to training and practice. Small printed digressions allow for a deepening of the material, which is of particular interest for exam candidates.
