Migration fundamentally shapes our society and its educational institutions and contributes significantly to the diversification of society. The second volume of the series outlines current and future challenges for the field of action of general education schools in the migration society and derives scientific, pedagogical and educational policy directions from this. The book also takes a look at educational professionalisation in the migration society. The book provides an overview of central fields of discourse as well as empirical findings, which are examined in greater depth in the articles on specific fields. The last article offers an international comparative perspective.
