Product details
Annette von Aretin, born in 1920 in Bamberg, initially trained as a photographer before the war and later attended the Munich Conservatory. After the war, she took a position at Bavarian Radio, where she played a significant role in shaping numerous broadcast series over several decades. In these memoirs, her childhood experiences in the Lower Bavarian countryside are described with as much dedication and detail as her reflections on the media illusion of television. Beginning with the spring of youth, the author guides the reader through all the seasons to the contemplation and introspection of winter, providing a sensitive portrait of a woman in the 20th century.
