Anna Maria Kupper has been keeping her own diary in pictures for over ten years. The photo camera accompanies the sculptress every day. She thus follows a kind of obsession with looking at, 'seeing' the world and capturing images. In the process, a special resonance is able to heighten the moment. The process corresponds to the search for a sound, for that which creates an impression, a memory in the mind. In the 220 images gathered here like a diary, people play an important role. They form a balance with photographs of landscapes, urban spaces, buildings and interiors. In this balance, both motifs are ultimately allegories of one's own life, which run through this book seriously, cheerfully, sometimes melancholically.
