Unlike Lewis Carroll's Cheshire Cat, the mathematically metaphorical cat Zeta knows exactly how to think about the right path. Never at a loss for an answer, she helps Alice navigate the wondrous world of science and climate change. However, the girl embarks not only on a journey through computer models, where she experiences the Ice Age in fast forward and witnesses the rainforest drying up, but also on an inner journey through guilt and compassion. She enters the Library of Truth, which shows her the limits of knowledge, an Error Bar run by shady rats, and befriends a walrus. When the girl eventually finds herself at a climate conference that turns into a trial, she must come clean. Does she know enough? Who can she trust? Not just her and a little rabbit, but also the wind and the weather.
