Algorithmen in Java

This book presents algorithms from a variety of fields - initially introducing the idea in an informal manner and then implementing it as a Java program, accompanied by a detailed analysis of correctness and complexity. Special emphasis has been placed on the didactic presentation of the topics, successfully combining scientific accuracy with understandable representation. A highlight of the book is the chapter on sorting networks and the parallel sorting methods based on them. The book is aimed at computer science students at universities and technical colleges. Basic knowledge of Java or a higher programming language is assumed. The mathematical foundations of the algorithms discussed can be found in the appendix.
