Algorithmen im Schulunterricht

Algorithms are often neglected in school education today, as there is a prevailing belief that this topic can only be treated theoretically. This paper aims to demonstrate that algorithms should indeed be addressed in the classroom, as they represent a fundamental component of computer science. This is evident not only in the context of programming but also in various areas of life. The paper is intended to provide teachers with guidance on how algorithms and the underlying computer science concepts can be made more accessible to students. The focus will particularly be on playful implementation and practical application, so that algorithms can be conveyed in a more engaging manner. However, the aim is not only to introduce specific algorithms to the students.
