Product details
The bear cub Alba has been suffering from nightmares since his family moved to another cave in the forest for hibernation. Alba decides to do something about his nightmares and sets off to visit his best animal friends in the forest. Each of them shows Alba their most effective and individual anti-nightmare trick. Alba applies each of these tricks to himself, and by the end of the story, the nightmares are defeated thanks to the help of his friends.
The first part of the picture book is aimed at the children themselves. It serves as a practical guide in which various psychological methods, known as tricks, are applied against nightmares. Through different approaches, various factors are utilized to help children cope with their nightmares. The motivating, interactive, and fun nature of this part invites children to participate. They are guided to apply the tricks directly and to try out and experience their effects for themselves.
The second part informs parents, caregivers, or professionals in the form of a guide, providing factual, scientifically grounded, and easily understandable information about the nature of children's nightmares. Additionally, this part contains further explanations, theories, and practical tips regarding nightmares in children.
