Alanus ab Insulis

When human self-awareness recognizes itself in its relationship with the world, a new scientific consciousness emerges, gradually becoming a way of life. Science then slowly transforms into a path for deepening understanding and existence. Today, various scientific fields could open up to such a development. Alanus ab Insulis prepared this human opening of science at the end of the 12th century. Thus, a new brotherhood of humanity with nature and with spiritual horizons of development arises: a future-oriented concept of anthroposophy, which fulfills the scientific intention of Alanus.
