Aggressivität, Zärtlichkeit und Sexualität

This volume captures the three essays that were created in close temporal proximity to Kunz's main work "The Anthropological Significance of Imagination," addressing the phenomenon complexes mentioned in the title: "Aggressiveness and Tenderness" (1946), "The Significance of Sexuality in Human Life" (1947-1950), and "On the Theory of Perversion" (1942). From the second half of the 1960s, there are four shorter essays, some of which are based on lectures: "On the Problem of Aggression," "Aggressive Group Behavior," "Man as Destroyer of Nature," and "Psychological Aspects of Human Sexuality." The radical emphasis on the finitude of humanity in Kunz's philosophically-anthropological main works influences the empirical character of the phenomenological studies presented here, which renounce any speculation. An appendix contains additional source texts from the estate of Hans Kunz, a critical apparatus, and comments from the editor.
