Agentieller Realismus

With her concept of agential realism, Karen Barad has gained significant attention in recent years, particularly among scholars engaged in discourse analysis, sociology of technology, and gender studies. Barad's aim is to establish a radically new foundation for thinking about language, discourses, and things. In her widely discussed essay, which is now available in German for the first time, she argues, drawing on the epistemological considerations of Danish physicist Niels Bohr, for a re-evaluation of the boundaries between objects, our instruments, language, and human observers.
