The travel guide to Ethiopia was first published in late 2012. Since then, more and more independent travelers are discovering the country located in the Horn of Africa each year. With its millennia-old history, stunning landscapes, and rich diversity of cultures and religions, Ethiopia is one of the most diverse countries in Africa. The now fourth edition of the guidebook has been expanded by about 20 pages and includes new map material. The five suggested routes cover the vast country and can be easily combined depending on time and interests. Some segments can be traveled by plane. The routes and locations presented in the tours are described in detail in the travel section. Detailed maps and a removable travel map assist in planning and on-site navigation. The best time to visit Ethiopia is from October to May, with the most beautiful months being from November to January.
