Product details
People diagnosed with binge eating disorder suffer from regular eating fits during which they consume large amounts of food and feel they are losing control over their eating habits. Unlike bulimia nervosa, eating fits are not accompanied by measures to prevent weight gain, such as vomiting, fasting, excessive exercise. Following the description of the disorder and the diagnostic procedure, the book provides a practice-oriented guide to therapy planning and treatment implementation. For this purpose, a behavioural therapeutic concept is presented which concentrates on those areas which are of central importance for the therapy of the binge eating disorder: Treatment modules will be developed to build a healthy lifestyle in the areas of nutrition and exercise, to promote the body.
