The book "Advances in Decapod Crustacean Research" provides a comprehensive overview of current trends and developments in the research of decapod crustaceans, which are significant in various aquatic habitats such as freshwater, estuaries, and oceans. In recent decades, research on this animal group has increased, highlighting their economic and ecological relevance. The contributions originate from the Colloquia Crustacea Decapoda Mediterranea, which are organized every three years by institutions in the Mediterranean region and now also welcome international contributions to crustacean research.
