The book "Advanced Technologies, Systems, and Applications V" brings together a variety of expert contributions that address the theory and practice of advanced technologies. These papers were originally selected for the 12th annual conference of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Sciences and Arts (BHAAAS), which was scheduled to take place in June 2020 in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Given the high quality of the submitted works, the technical and natural sciences department of BHAAAS decided to publish this special book despite the postponement. The editors thank the chairs of the planned symposia for their dedicated work on this book.
